Meeting at Loen Church
The guest from America came from Geiranger with a bus they had hired ("Turistbussen "Oevrevoll"), and the first stop in Loen was at Loen church. Here the guest from America met with relatives in Loen
From "Monsbruket" (children of Melvin's cousin Anders M Loen): Magne, Olaug and Klara.
From "Markusbruket".(Children of Olina A Loen married to Karl Markussen Loen): Markus and Idun.
From Strand (where Netti Pedersen's mother came from): Kolbein Strand.
From Sjurebruket: Audun and Marit, Gjertrud and her son Anders.

We went to the churchyard and visited the graves of the relatives. We saw the graves of Melvins uncle Andreas with his wife Marte, and at the same place Melvins's cousin Olav with wife Aslaug. In another area of the churchyard we saw the grave of Melvin's grandfather (Ola A Loen born 1847). The people from Monsbruket located the grave of Melvin's cousin Olina (who was married to Mons Loen). Markus showed the family grave of the Markus-family where four generation of his ancestors was buried. Audun did not take pictures of the graves, but the guests from America took pictures (below is included an older picture from Audun's photo album showing the graves of Andreas +Marte and Olav (+ Aslaug later))

We went into the church where Sharon Loen played piano, and the family members were singing. They wrote their names in the guestbook of the church.
