Strand

After a short visit at the souvenir shop at Hotel Alexandra we drove with the bus to Strand. We went into the house and were served apple-most from Kolbein and his wife Bergljot. Kolbein had been together with us the whole day. Kolbein and Melvin were second cousins. The picture shown below was taken in their home.

Kolbein had an old pictures showing the farm in 1924, another showing Erich and Johanna together with one of their daughter (perhaps Rakel) and a third picture showing one of Erik and Johanna's daughters who went to America (did not know which one). One copy of these pictures was given to the guests from America. Link to this pictures are given below.
